Statement from Catherine Winter, Managing Director, Financial Capability and Community Outreach

Update: 28 May 2020

This is an update about arrangements for awarding vocational technical qualifications for students due to be sitting exams this summer and how to submit your predicted grades, as detailed in our recent communications.

MyLIBF - Predicted Grade and Rank entry

The submission window for entering your student predicted grades and rank orders will be open from 8.30am 1 June until 15 June 2020 at 5pm. The predicted grades screen is available to Exam Officers and Teachers. To enable centres to input the correct information required to receive student grades, we have ‘cleared’ previous data to assist you.

Please read the full detail guide on how to input predicted grades. All information must be inputted during the period of 1 June – 15 June inclusive. We may contact centres after this date should we have any questions regarding your data entry.

The Head of Centre is required to sign the centre predicted grades and rank order document, once the student grades have been entered onto MyLiBF. We cannot process the predicted grades until this document is received and emailed back to fcexams@libf.ac.uk.

If you have any issues with data entry please contact fcexams@libf.ac.uk or phone 01227 828234.

We know that this is a time-consuming process and we thank you for your continued support and understanding during these unprecedented circumstances.

Free resources for your teachers

We want to do what we can to support teachers and their students who may have to spend long periods at home during the COVID 19 outbreak.

We've pulled together some useful activities your students can do at home. While the materials are taken from a previous qualification, they are all relevant to modern-day personal finance.

There are several activities and questions for your students to work through. The answers to questions are at the end, so they can check their knowledge themselves.

We hope that these topics may be useful and support your work with your students during these challenging circumstances.
